Finally...

Thanks to everyone involved...my folks, (the abuelos), my hubby, Hairpin, and our son Aloysius...our little home on the wonderful island of Manhattan is finally "fixed up." We have been working on it diligently for the last 3 weeks and are happy to report that it is finally done!

A shot of our building...would have been cooler if it was called The Colombia.

The entrance to our abode...please don't blink too much while you look at these pictures. You may miss something! All the doors and trim used to be white. And, we are getting a new hanging lamp in the dining area. That one came with the apt when we got it and I strongly dislike it!

My personal favorite was the kitchen. We put in a new floor, painted it yellow from a salmon reddish color and added little black cabinet handles!

Our pretty big hall closet leading to bathroom and Aloysius's room...

Now don't get scared...these shelves are not as bad as they look and they were FREE!!!! They will serve as our divider so we can make our bedroom on the other side!

Flounder even painted the back of the shelves blue like the area that will be our room:)

and we love little A's orange room!!!! We had extra kitchen floor so we decided to do all the closets in it as well:)
