Finally...I am all caught up!!!!!

It has been quite difficult to be on a computer these days because our lap top has a bad virus and we have not been able to use it all for the last 3-4 weeks...and my Dad's desktop got a virus too, so we really should not be using it either. Not only did my blog suffer the consequences, but I have not e-mailed much either :(

Quick update...

Aloysius: will be 14 months in 6 days...can't believe it. He is such a patient little guy and we just adore him!!!

Hairpin: has 4 credits left to graduate...he is studying hard :) He is also looking for a job and is a little frustrated with the job market.

Flounder: got her old job back working in the NYC Department of Education in a self contained special education school up in the Bronx. Very excited. Will start at the beginning of January if all goes well:)

Our family: it has been amazing to see everyone! We got to see a LOT of the Hairpin side in Chicago which was awesome. We have been staying with the "Abuelos" and uncle Julio since we arrived back which has been really fun. We are so darn spoiled! We have also gotten to see my sister Claudia and 5 of the 6 nieces. We cannot wait to see Gabi and Steve!!!!

Our friends: we are having fun slowly getting together with our friends. I think it will be easier when we are settled in our home. We miss our friends in Japan and cannot wait to get our laptop back so we can actually SKYPE!!!!

Our apartment: we have spent endless hours there repainting every single wall, putting in new kitchen and closet floors and doing minor little fix ups here and there. We still have a bit to do, but hopefully we will be done by this weekend:)

Our household goods should have arrived today. We are desperately hoping that we get moved back into our little place before Christmas. Keep your fingers crossed.
