was an exciting concept to me when I was able to see my beautiful son growing in my belly. Today, it was not the case. Today an "Ultrasound" was a nerve-wracking experience for our family. Our little Aloysius has had three episodes of minimal blood in his diaper with no other symptoms. Two urine samples and an ultrasound later it was determined that he has a Urinary Tract Infection. We were glad that it was just that and not something more serious. Our Pediatrician was absolutely amazing through out this whole experience which started last Wednesday, 1 JUN 11. He tried really hard to find answers without having to use antibiotics, which I really appreciated since as a family we are pretty much anti-any medications. But in the end, the blood is most likely due to an irritated urinary canal that has been housing some bacteria. Little A is a tough kid! His little body did not really react to this infection as expected. This is what made it hard to diagnose in the first place. But, like I said, our Pediatrician was awesome and as of today we will run a course of Antibiotics and re-culture his urine to make sure those little infectious buggers are out of there!!!!
Little Aloysius is awaiting his Ultrasound...

Aloysius did such a great job during the ultrasound, we were so proud of him. Afterwards he just chilled with Dad while we waited to hear the results which were NORMAL!!!!

Then we celebrated at the sprinklers of course!!!
