A busy Saturday for us....

We started our day with our typical Saturday morning bike ride. We always pass this park and comment on how much fun it looks. So we decided to try it out!!! It is called the Tarr Family Park and it is in Central park at West 100th street, about a 15 min walk from our place. Little A is always a little fearful of the water initially. In his defense...the water in the sprinklers is always FREEZING!!!!

Hairpin felt it as Aloysius sprayed him.

We discovered this misty sprinkler that the kids activated with a button. Of course Hairpin had to try it out!

Love this picture of him...he is walking away like he is on some mission! He looks like such a big boy.

Upon our return home, we got a message that Tio Julio was going to be in the city. Lucky for us, he, his wife and an out of town visitor were headed straight to our hood. We met them briefly at St. John the Divine Cathedral and Aloysius enjoyed seeing the peacock!!!

Afterwards we walked home along Riverside Park and stopped at the TOT LOT 112, one of the few playgrounds along the way.

Loved watching Aloysius make the little bark piles on the ledge...

Little A is getting really strong...he hung there for 10 seconds plus!!!!!

Needless to say...Aloysius passed out when we got home that afternoon. I had the best time watching him try to wake up for dinner!!!
