One year, 7 months and 24 days

Every time this vase is full of used lancets and syringes, Flounder photographs it.  This time, she forgot and it was emptied.  And just maybe, this is a little sign that Diabetes is slowly starting to be less of an all-consuming stressor.  While the work and effort to manage Type 1 Diabetes in a preschooler is still the same, the sense of guilt and responsibility that stems from the rollercoaster of  highs and lows is definitely on the decrease.  And this is emotionally a much better place to be for all those who manage little A's diabetes on a daily basis.
