As most everyone knows, Flounder has three amazing girlfriends whom she met working at Jawonio about 12 years ago. Back in 2003 when Flounder left Jawonio, they decided that they valued each other's friendship so much that they wanted to get together every month so that they would never lose touch. They called themselves the Ja-Ja's and this month marks the 10th anniversary of such gatherings. Even while Flounder was living abroad in Japan, the get togethers continued and Flounder joined in via Skype or a phone conference. To this day, not one month has elapsed where a Ja-Ja gathering has not taken place. These lifetime friendships keep blossoming and the Ja-Ja's feel very fortunate to have each other. So to celebrate 10 years of the Ja-Ja sisterhood, an over night trip to Mistick, CT and Foxwoods with the spouses was planned. It was a blast!
