12-22-13 Leaving North Carolina and headed for Georgia!

Morning at the Days Inn, Raleigh NC...someone woke up super hungry
We ate lunch in the car to hurry things up...
Emergency potty stop...thank goodness we held onto our portable potty!
At the Georgia State Train Museum
 Aloysius and Julian:)
The tour guide was kind enough to do an extra 4PM tour for those of us who got stuck in traffic on the way to the museum.
Inside one of the older train cars
 Hanging out with Hairpin Dad
Lots of energy to be released after sitting in a car for hours!
Baby Sushi looking as cute as ever!
The mini train models were so amazing
Our friends Christina, Leo and Julian drove all the way from Robins Air Force Base, GA, to meet up with us last minute.  They drove 3 hours for a couple hours at the museum and a yummy dinner at the Mellow Mushroom!  We had SOOO much fun seeing them!!!  Thanks for making the trip you guys!
Leo working out those chunky legs!
Aloysius by the "United States of America flag"
Very cool pizza place a couple blocks from our hotel!
The décor was groovy to the max!
 The pizza was very yummy
That night we went to the Savannah Harbor Festival of Lights via an Old Town Trolley.  We all received song books and Aloysius loved playing the bells while singing Christmas carols!
Sushi stayed up very late as he did not want to miss a thing.  Flounder kept covering his poor little ears as everyone on the trolley belted out Christmas carols.
The gang on the trolley..
We got to see some cool ginger bread house displays at one of our stops; Weston Hotel.
 The Abuelos being silly
The view from the Weston Hotel; Savannah River
Our tour guide and driver, Tony.
Poor Aloysius, this was the latest he had ever stayed up!  We did not get home until 10:30ish but we had a BLAST!

The Festival of Lights was really cool; however, my camera acted up:(  I lost all my pictures from the festival and our morning walk around Savannah:(
