Aloysius' last day at Tender Care...

We cannot believe it has been three years since Aloysius started the Grosvenor House YMCA Tender Care program.  Words will never describe the gratitude we feel towards the staff who so lovingly cared for our little A and helped him blossom into the amazing kid he is.  Not to mention, how they rightfully and openly rose to the challenge of managing Aloysius' Type 1 Diabetes at school.  This is the kind of school setting that all children with Type 1 Diabetes are entitled to and deserve.  It is here where it was reinforced that he is just like any other child; except for the fact that he has to monitor his blood sugar levels externally and have insulin injections because his little body cannot produce insulin.  As a result, our little A has never felt ashamed, embarrassed or a need to  hide his Diabetes.
Thank you Ms. Jane, Ms. Nieasha, Ms. Lie, Ms. Nigel, Ms. Linda, Mr. Jason, Ms. Mayra, Ms. Michele and all of those who made this possible.  We are going to miss you all tremendously and cannot wait until Sushi starts his Tender Care adventures!
