Our day started with the scariest moment thus far, aside from the Diabetes diagnosis of course. We were making our way down to the Savannah River. Hairpin and Flounder walking along while Sushi enjoyed being pushed in the stroller and Aloysius rode his scooter up ahead. Unbeknownst to us, a downhill appeared and before we knew it Little A was flying full force down it. The more we yelled to stop, the more speed he seemed to gain. Although Aloysius is good on his scooter and knows how to stop, he froze in fear. And as a result, little A flew onto the cobble stone road; which was a working road. Luckily, there were no cars coming and little A walked away with minor scratches on his hands. Nonetheless it scared the bejeezus out of us and the other mom who was watching from below!!! Our brave little guy just continued on as if nothing...
After we calmed down, we ate breakfast at a place called Huey's. The food was delicious and Sushi enjoyed getting to wear Aloysius' helmet while everyone finished eating.
Buddies from our time in Japan drove out to Savannah again to meet us on our way to Florida! It is always great to see Christina and Julian, and Leo was definitely missed:(
We went on a Savannah Riverboat Cruise...much fun!

Julian is so chill. He gracefully put up with Aloysius' clingy behavior.
Sushi contemplating his really bad haircut:(
Silly little A
We made good use of the pool at our hotel that afternoon.
CLICK HERE to watch little A...he is learning to swim!
Aloysius saw this sign and said, "Look Daddy.
No head stands in the water!"
Sushi looked so cute in Julian's old Sponge Bob towel!
Thanks for sharing Julian:)
Walking back to our hotel after a fun-filled day!
Love that little face!
Thanks for a great visit and for making the 3-hour trip to see us!
