Even though we arrived fairly early in the day, we were parked far enough to take the shuttle to the entrance!

"The angklung is a musical instrument made of two to three bamboo tubes attached to a bamboo frame. The tubes are carved to have a resonant pitch when struck and are tuned to octaves. The base of the frame is held in one hand, whilst the other hand strikes the instrument. This causes a repeating note to sound. It is popular throughout Southeast Asia, but it originated in what is now Indonesia and has been played by the Sundanese for many centuries."
Little A had an opportunity to play it.
The drummer boys in action...
A little saxophone serenade for the cutie:)
The safari ride was definitely the highlight of this place.
It offered a "glimpse of real animals in their natural habitats during an 18-minute expedition into the Harambe Wildlife Reserve. Featuring picturesque open plains, shady forest landscapes and rocky wetlands, the 110-acre Harambe Wildlife Reserve is a spectacular sanctuary dedicated to the protection of African animals."
"We rode an open-air safari vehicle and hung on tight as we took off on a guided tour into the African outback—where over 34 different species of exotic African wildlife seemingly roam free. As the bumpy transport makes its way through rugged terrain, we caught a glimpse of an array of exotic animals in a variety of unique habitats." Less guilty feelings here than in a zoo.
It seems that someone is really enjoying Animal Kingdom...
could it be Aloysius?
What a fun-filled very hot day.
Thanks to Bubbe and Auntie Lulu for making it so special!
