Originally the plan was to push this baby out; however, baby Sushi is as stubborn as his/her big brother Aloysius. There is no sign of descent, dilation or contractions and the cervix is tucked way high so no one can reach it! The OBGYN had initially scheduled the C-section for next week to give Flounder an extra week to labor; however, Aloysius has his pre-k/daycare graduation that week. There was no way Flounder was missing out on his graduation and ballet recital!!! So, a family decision was made and the C-section is happening tomorrow at 12:30PM! Everyone is excited to meet baby Sushi!!!! Aloysius helped clean the car this afternoon.
We celebrated with dinner out at a Hibachi restaurant Aloysius loves,
and enjoyed our last dinner together as a family of "three" to the max!
