Hairpin and Aloysius started the celebration at the local pool's Serendipity Saturday!
Flounder and Aloysius surprised Hairpin with a trip to Rye Playland, a small amusement park in Rye, NY. Hairpin loves amusement parks!!!
At the beginning of every ride, kids are asked to give a "thumbs up" when
asked if they are ready to begin.
Hairpin enjoyed an adult ride.
Poor Aloysius...he was okay going up and down this major hill, but he freaked
out with the humongous splash at the bottom!
Watching the big splashes from a far was better.
At the end of the day, Aloysius made a drawing for Hairpin on his very own. He handed it to Hairpin and said "Happy Father's Day." On it, for the very first time on his own, he wrote his entire name!!!
