Prior to this group shot, the coaches gave out some munchkins for the kids. Aloysius of course, has to do the same song and dance he always does before he eats anything with carbs, especially sweets. For the first time in 2 years, 8 months and 2 days since he was diagnosed, he said to me..."Mommy, I don't like Diabetes." A stab to my heart. He only said it once, and continued with his routine, as always, like a champ. Such an amazing kid. Makes me so incredibly proud each and every day.
