3-8-15 Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation event at Chelsea Piers

Ready, Set, Play JDRF Family Day was so much fun!
It was a very well run fundraiser that will become a yearly tradition for our family.  It is so healthy for Aloysius to be around other kids who live with type 1 diabetes and, for us to be involved in fundraising efforts so that one day there may be a world with no type 1 diabetes.
Check out our little climber go...
Sushi had a blast in the toddler section with Hairpin.
He didn't want to leave it!
New York Red Bull soccer players were at the Chelsea Pier Fieldhouse playing with the kids.  Some of the moves they had were amazing!
Little A was trying to learn some...
but did pretty well on his own:)
Sushi was into the American Football
 and basket-soccer combo moves:)
In addition to the fun the kids had, Hairpin and I enjoyed our interactions with the other parents.  One interaction in particular gave us the little extra push we needed to once again fight for what our little Aloysius deserves.
Thank you to Jason and Kashi for empowering us.
